Launchpad Art is a little diversionary project which makes use of some code written for a customizable Max for Live control surface I’ve been building. I’ve always liked the idea of using the Novation Launchpad hardware to make a customizable controller because its relatively inexpensive and popular among Ableton users. And colored lights are pretty.

The whole Max for Live device isn’t quite production ready, but the graphical editor is working pretty well, so I enjoy making some designs with it now and again.
